Goose Games Special Event

Many Goose Games regulars have been asking for some games that are a little… heavier. We have just the thing…

Goose Games is coming to Galaxy of Games in Herriman with a brand new way to enjoy the board game experience. On Tuesday, November 4th at 6:oopm we will be hosting a reservation only event where we will be teaching and playing Brass:Birmingham

Currently the #1 rated game on BoardGameGeek.com Brass: Birmingham is a heavyweight economic strategy game sequel to Martin Wallace’s 2007 masterpiece, Brass. Rated a 3.87/5 in complexity weight, Brass: Birmingham tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Birmingham during the industrial revolution between the years of 1770 and 1870.

It offers a very different story arc and experience from its predecessor. As in its predecessor, you must develop, build and establish your industries and network in an effort to exploit low or high market demands. The game is played over two halves: the canal era (years 1770-1830) and the rail era (years 1830-1870). To win the game, score the most VPs. VPs are counted at the end of each half for the canals, rails and established industry tiles.

Spots are limited and reservations are required so sign up today by texting “Brass” to Jake at 801-448-4927

Game Designers Ammon & Mel Anderson 7/14/25

Game designer Ammon Anderson has been a great supporter of Goose Games, and has come to teach his games Gnome Hollow, Twinkle Twinkle, Quest for the Scottish Unicorn, and Space Potato at previous game nights. On Monday July 14, 2025 Ammon and Mel Anderson will be attending to show off the game they created together in support of the recent Kickstarter launch!

Cats vs Cucumbers is an adorable cat-themed, chaotic, push-your-luck game players roll cat dice to collect cats, treats, and toys while avoiding cucumbers. The game is designed to get you playing within minutes with no complicated rules, just simple, silly, chaotic, and strategic fun.

We hope you can join us for this event!
