Boardgame publisher AllPlay has created a series of “1 Minute to Teach” games and we’ll feature a few of them this week.

Lure

Wager dice and catch fish in this snappy dice-rolice and bidding game where you secretly select dice to play behind your player screen. All players reveal simultaneously and the fewer dice you bid, the earlier you get to ‘fish’ each round, but the big fish are going to need more dice to reel them in.

Dandelions

Dice movement and area majority are important as players roll dice and choose one to move through the garden. Harness the power of wind with special actions–float, puff, and gust, to gain the most points.

2-3 players

GPS

Spin the rocket and and launch your GPS satellites into space. You need your network in the proper order, but there are limited launch windows. Once you get your satellites in orbit the trick is to get them all aligned in order before your opponents.

Mountain Goats

Become the King of the Hill as you roll dice and strategically move your goats up the mountains. Score points as long as you’re on top, but opponents can knock you off and back down to the bottom. You also can score points for collecting tokens from each mountain top, and reaching the highest point in the mountain range.

2-5 players

Sequoia

Manage your dice rolls to balance the task of planting the tallest trees across several forests. Grow your trees strategically and after 10 turns, earn victory points from forests when you have the tallest trees.
