Tsuro – 09/21/2026

This week’s featured game is Tsuro by Calliope Games and it’s one of those games that looks simple, but is bound to surprise you.

The premise is elegant: each player has a stone on the edge of the board. On your turn, you place a tile with paths curving through it, and your stone slides along that path, and any other paths it connects to, until it comes to the end. Sometimes that’s a smooth glide across the board. Sometimes it’s a straight shot off the edge, and you’re out!

The twist (pun intended) is that you’re not just building your own path. The tiles you play add to the available paths for everyone. Every tile will extend your line and perhaps someone else’s, sending them careening toward oblivion. There’s a lot of “I didn’t mean for that to happen” energy, and honestly, that’s the best part.

Whether you’re the type to plot three moves ahead or just vibing off where the tiles take you, Tsuro rewards both. There’s no wrong way to walk the path — except, of course, right off the board.

Join us this Monday at 2 Row Brewing in Midvale for a night of tile-laying tension, good company, and good beer. Tsuro will be on the table all night, alongside our usual library of games we are happy to teach you. Plus we’ll have our nightly giveaway and another chance to get entries for our monthly game giveaway from Riftgate Games.

See where your path leads.
