Wavelength isn’t just a board game—it’s a ‘mind-reading’ experience that turns your friends’ opinions into a high-stakes competition. It’s loud, it’s tense, and it’s a great “how well do I actually know you?” test.
One player, the Psychic, knows exactly where a target dot is hidden on a spectrum. They are given a card with two extremes or opposing concepts, like “Hot” and “Cold” or “Useless” and “Useful.” They must provide a clue that aligns on the spectrum as close to the target dot as possible. Imagine trying to convince your team that a “hot dog” is 75% of the way toward being a “sandwich” or that the “the Moon” is more “Basic” or “Pretentious.” That’s the magic of Wavelength.
Then the Psychic’s team sets the physical dial as to where they think the clue falls on the spectrum, while the opposing team decides if the target dot is close to one end of the spectrum or the other. The game takes only a few minutes to learn and can lead to some absolutly wild and crazy conversations around the table.
